Welcome to the Student Welfare team. We are part of the University's Student Welfare and Wellbeing Service. Our job is to provide practical support to students who have been affected by challenging personal circumstances while at University. We are also part of the University's Sexual Violence Liaison Officer (SVLO) Service, providing support to students affected by sexual violence.
Some of the situations we support students with include:
Sexual violence (current or historic)
Microaggressions, hate and discrimination
Victim of a crime
Relationship and Domestic Abuse
Bullying and harassment
Housing/finance issues
Serious ill health/hospitalisation
Death and Bereavement
Missing students
National and international crises
